Rude front desk

Very Clean & comfortable. No troublemakers around. Front desk was a bit rude but understood to keep vagrants out, but still, bit too sharp considering I PD good money for my room. No breakfast.

Earlier this month, I received a 24 hours to vacate notice unexpectedly. This caused me great anxiety and little time to move all my belongings. No where for my dog or me to go. Initially I had stayed at a different hotel in town before arriving here. I didn't think the previous hotel was terrible but holy cow am I happy I gave this place a shot. America's Best Value is by far superior. Great price! The room size is livable. I've been here for a couple weeks now Both the rooms and the common areas are clean. Hot water for days! Then there's the staff. Every staff member I've talked to has been remarkably kind, personable, and helpful. As a single female traveling alone as I try to get out from under an eviction- I could not be more appreciative of the relief I have had to feel safe here. I accredit that to the staff members themselves, and for the effort they put into making sure you have a great stay here.

Stores close by. Clean & I could tell that they are upgrading a little bit at a time. I like the color schemes (very relaxing) & color coordinated throughout the building. I most definitely will be staying here again when I am in the area.

Comfortable, cheap, clean, straightforward.

This was the cheapest option to stay a night in St. Cloud, besides slumming it in my own car at a Walmart parking lot (which I had actually considered). Nonetheless, I'm glad I elected to stay here. The staff is very friendly, and they are willing to accommodate anything within their power. It was quiet, comfortable, and there were lots of TV channel options. I would stay here again, easily.

This hotel was quiet, clean, convenient & affordable. Building and room had a nice fresh scent. Pleasant & friendly staff. Check in & check out went smoothly. I had to pay a $60.00 cash deposit, which I didn't mind because it is a far cry of what other hotels in the area wanting $ 200.00 - $250.00 for incidentials. I am going to be coming back here again on my way back east.

hotel stay in st. cloud

the dryer said it was commercial it should have dryer my load of cloths in a 60 minute cycle but it barely did it in 120 minutes they always had coffee all day which was nice. they also had treats for breakfast which was something.

Pool closed indefinitely. Rooms were disgustingly gross. Burn holes in blankets. No breakfast just some bad coffee. Ice machines not working. Area was sketchy. Unknown things happening in the parking lot. No security, no staff just the guy working at the front desk. Seems nice should not be left unattended. Was supposed to get a one night refund and nothing we stayed may 9 and 10th but left may 9th and went to a different hotel.

I had a very nice stay there. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom looked new. The only negative was the bottom of the tub was slippery for my shower and I had to put a towel in the tub to stand on so I would not slip. I would come back again. The staff were courteous and helpful.

The staff at the hotel were kind and professional. However, the building itself smelled strongly of cigarette smoke, even in our non-smoking room. There was no security implemented on the outside doors, so anyone could enter the building without a key card. The television also didn't work. Overall, it offered a place to stay for the night, which is what we needed, but it was not the most comfortable experience, particularly due to the smoke smell.

My room was clean and pretty big. Bed was comfortable and tv was Dish Network. I had eggs and sausage and coffee from the dining room for breakfast and it was great! Staff was laid back and nice. I had no problem getting a later checkout time.

Not a place for a vacation, but perfect if you just want a clean bed for the night. We got what we paid for. It was fairly clean, but aged paint and grout, etc. Bedspread had pulled threads, but was clean. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. We were fully satisfied.

Shower was great. Rooms were clean. But, the marijuana smoking was horrible. The hallway was hazy it was so thick. We ended up laying wet towels under the doorway to block the smoke from coming in.

The property was under construction. It might be nice again in the future from the look of some of the updates, but mostly it is still very old and in disrepair. Highway construction didn't help. the staff was accommodating.
