A wonderful friendly hotel easy to find and opposite a golden sandy beach. Everything was exceptionally clean. The choice of meals in the restaurant was very good both in quality and value for money, the staff friendly and attentive and meals were serve on HOT plates. Although the hotel was full from families to golden oldies like myself, it never felt crowded and was very quiet.

Good sized clean room with a quality bed and reasonable size TV. The bathroom had been recently refitted to a good standard. The walk in shower cubicle was greta, although the water pressure was very disappointing. A la carte evening 3 course meals were reasonably priced for Jersey (£28.50 for 3 courses), well varied, good quality and massive portions! Breakfast was also very good quality. Restaurant and reception staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. Ample and easy on-site parking and a good central location - overall great!

Very nice hotel overlooking the coast. Rooms were comfortable - bed and pillows. Bathroom was dated but immaculate and spotless. No air con in room, just a fan and as we were there during the heatwave, sleeping was tricky. Despite thick curtains/window blind the room was oppressively hot. Food was good and the staff friendly and attentive. The hotel is on quite a busy road so you get quite a lot of traffic noise if your room is sea facing. M&S food hall was 5 minutes away and bus stops right outside.

My 4 night stay was excellent, I chose a double with a sea view which was definitely worth the extra cost. The bedroom was a good size for me but I felt it was maybe a bit small for a couple but otherwise was very good, however the bathroom was rather dated with shower over the bath with curtain and not a lot of water pressure. The dining room and bar areas are very good. Breakfast is served and was excellent with multiple choices on offer. A 5 course evening meal is available, different menu each night and at £28.50 is excellent value. If you have a car there is plenty of parking but if not there are regular buses from just outside the door. (£2.35 per trip).Lastly the staff were very good, always helpful with a welcoming smile. All in all the Ambassadeur offers good value and is an enjoyable place to stay.🙂

Excellent service and a lovely hotel

The whole hotel was clean and my room was comfortable. The staff working here were very friendly and professional, I really enjoyed my time at the hotel. The decor is a bit dated however that doesn't bother me. The lounge room had a selection of seats and it was pleasant being able to watch the sea from a comfy seat. The location was spot on for me, a 30 minute walk from St Helier or a short bus journey
