While the hotelands rooms are showing age, everything was clean. Staff was very courteous. Location on the beach is excellent, pool area looked great. Generally a good place to stay without breaking the bank. Great value for what you spend.

we had a great time staff was friendly the hotel was clean a lot of places to eat and beach is right in front of hotel 3 min walk we plan on coming here again soon, St. Augustine is beautiful.

Stayed overnight so I could walk to be on the beach at sunrise. Simple setup, clean, functional. I was only there for the night so I didn't make too much use of the room, but it was pretty nice! Felt good staying there.

Sue and her staff did an amazing job of keeping plentiful towels in the room. The bed was very comfortable and clean. Great location with the beach within walking distance. Plentiful restaurants nearby also. Very reasonably priced. I enjoyed my stay.

The property is not beachfront; you need to walk about one block to reach the beach. The area is very pleasant for walking, and I felt safe during my stay. One small suggestion would be for the front desk staff to be more welcoming. Also, when I called with a question, I felt my concern was not fully addressed before the call ended.

The fridge had no control knob, and it was off. They "don't do lids" on the ice bucket. The water at the sink was slightly more that a trickle when wide open. A block from the beach was nice, and the room was clean.
