Great location, nice and upgraded rooms, bed was a bit hard/springy(needs a pillow top) but staff was awesome and saved our butt catching a taxi for our train! Super close to golf too. Definitely recommend

We enjoyed our stay here in a neat part of St. Andrews. It was a little tricky to find the first time, but after that it was wonderful. Beautiful old building. On our last morning, we ran into a sweet staff member who was delivering fresh baked cookies and helped us call a taxi.

Cleveden House is situated in a perfect location on a quiet street, near the grocery store and restaurants, with easy access to the building. The room was comfortable and clean, and had everything we needed for our three-night stay in St. Andrews. The bathroom had a great shower. We would definitely stay there again!

I enjoyed my stay. The staff were kind, helpful, and friendly. The rooms were clean. Free parking nearby albeit limited. Breakfast hits the spot- however, you’ll have to walk 5 minutes away to the sister hotel restaurant. You can get a take away. By the way - no lift. it’s part of the charm. ohh one surprise - they only offer hand/bath soap. No lotion or conditioner. I’d still stay here again.

Overall, a great experience. The room was and clean and nice. Self check in was easy. Only a few small issues with the room... The lights in the headboard did not work, and the bathroom vent was frequently rattling (probably due to wind).

The location was excellent - right in the heart of St Andrews. Room was clean and the beds comfortable. It was quiet. I would have liked a kettle in the room and tea rather than just the coffee pods. The 'grab and go' breakfast was a nice idea but some juice or other cold drinks would have been appreciated.
