A delicious breakfast, afternoon snacks, incredible evening cookies (delivered to the room!), a wonderfully historic site, engaging staff, convenient to the downtown historic locations and museums, and at less than half the cost of a commercial hotels in further, less convenient and less interesting, locations. We stayed our first night en route to places west, and immediately reserved for our return drive.

The inn is just lovely, with beautiful old woodwork and charming rooms. Our room was so comfortable, the staff was amazing, and the location is minutes away from attractions and dining. Breakfast was just right and the evening cookies were SO good; a touch that made us feel so welcome. We will definitely come back!
