No front desk staff readily available. Informed staff of needing more towels. None given. Had to go back to front desk for more. Entry to pool are smelled of cannabis. Stranger in pool area--authorities on site to solve problem. Large landscape bush blocking view of traffic at driveway exit

Located in the heart of Disney property. However this is a time share location. You will be presented with a Visa card or additional free days for another stay to see presentation and view property. You can stay with the club if you are not a member. Several pools , playground, miniature golf and places to eat on property. Plus excellent security.

Good services and location

When we should up they gave us a room that wasn’t ready. We waited a few hours at the pool and then went back to the room and had issues with our keys 3 times and it turned out to be the battery in the lock according to security which they never changed as they said they would the whole entire 4 day stay. After getting into the room there was hair still on the bathroom floor and looked liked the room hadn’t been swept. We then had issues with the blender and called for a new one and never showed up. The other major problem was the wifi didn’t work at all the whole entire stay. I called numerous times the front desk and they told me to come to the front and use the wifi. While there I attended one of there presentation as they were recommended by some members but in my opinion the customer service and care is terrible. The last issue was on the last day for check out the cleaning people started knocking and hovering around my door for cleaning when checkout was at 10am. I said some to the cleaning lady that check out wasn’t till 10am and we working on getting out of the room. I had stayed here previously and had better luck but this was a terrible experience and wouldn’t recommend to stay at this resort.

I visited this hotel for 2 nights while my mom was having surgery at a nearby hospital. I was just looking for a clean bed and a quiet room. The first room, number 412, is a hazard. The room itself is clean, but I opened the door to the bathroom and it reeked of mold. I don’t say that lightly. I’ve lived in Florida most of my life and as a professional property manager, I know the difference between a slight mildew smell that’s normal, and something potentially dangerous. Thankfully, they allowed me to check into another room in the morning, room 711. This room also had a very strong mold smell in the bathroom, but it was not nearly as horrible as the previous room so I kept the door shut and completed my stay. Room 412 needs to be removed from service immediately and remediation started.

You can’t beat the location for all the shops on Park Avenue in Winter Park. The property is charming and historic. There is an adjacent restaurant/bar, which is convenient. If you are a light sleeper, you may notice the sounds of a train, here and there, since the track is close to the hotel.
