This was my first time here. We were visiting from Tennessee. The cabins were clean, the staff were very friendly and helpful. Check in was super easy and quick. The pools are nice, big and clean. There are plenty of activities to do at no extra cost. It was nice to have dish soap, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, paper towels provided in the cabin. We definitely are coming back for a longer stay!

Best Stay this year

Beautiful cabins, I wish a longer stay would have been planned. You need at least 3 days here to enjoy the activities and view—outside the cabin. Each cabin looked and smelled of new wood and had VERY clean interiors. Everyone from the phone staff to the security were friendly and personable. Better and cheaper than any hotel I’ve stayed at this year. Coming here again as soon as I can

Everything was very good, the only thing was the telephone wasn’t working, internet very slow and the bathroom towel don’t dry you up., little things, but the place is super clean the floors uffff so clean, thank you.

I thought the people who worked at the campground went out of their way to be kind and helpful. It's location near Civil War historical sites was wonderful. The cabin itself needs upgrades. You sink so far into the couch it's difficult to get back out. The mattress in all beds need to be replaced as well.The thing that really turned us off was the large black ants in the bathroom. Not sure if I would go back

It was more beautiful than I thought. Very spacious, clean and comfortable! the only detail was that I booked 2 queen beds with a sofa bed, and I received 1 queen bed and 2 single beds, my friends slept apart in Valentine.

A great place to relax and enjoy nature

We had a cabin by the water. It was beautiful and relaxing. There were activities and recreational facilities available. Staff was friendly and knowledgeable. Only con was the beds... very hard mattresses, even with a foam topper.

Area for Improvement: * Cabin Cleanliness: Specifically, the floors needed sweeping and mopping. This detracted from the enjoyment of the lake view. Conclusion: Despite the minor cleaning issue, the positive aspects of the resort (location, activities, cabin, amenities, and excellent check-in) significantly outweigh this drawback, leading to a strong recommendation and intent to return.

Front desk service was very helpful and friendly. Was able to get me in a little early than expected. Cabin waa clean for the most wife found a dead bug on the bed. The beds were a little hard for my liking. Maybe some foam toppers would help out. But over all we had a great time with the family. We had a total of 3 cabins rented out this weekend.

Everything was so smooth, from the check in to check out. We really enjoyed the beautiful water views and the hot tub! I wish the indoor pool was open a little later, but the kids were able to get in an hour of swimming before it closed. The cabin was well stocked with all essentials and was clean and cozy! We will be back for sure!

Girls weekend trip - great adventure. It poured all weekend so it was all indoor activities - but the experience was great. Only down side was we would have LOVED to have had blankets for the beds. Beautiful, clean, friendly, we will be back.

Great weekend getaway!

We recently stayed for a weekend for my teenager’s birthday and we all had a blast! A lot of family activities to keep us all busy. The only thing that was inconsistent was the WiFi connection. It was challenging to hop on a few meetings but made it work.
