Stayed at hotel lake Anna for one night for the rem faire that was near by. All in all it was a good stay and it’s clear they are working hard to make improvements to the place. The service was also great!

Close to winery

Room was clean and staff was very friendly. Loved the microwave and mini fridge. It was perfect for our needs. It was very close to the winery where we did an event. Would definitely stay again.

Very clean and fresh. Comfortable with new bed linens and accessories. Large tv, microwave and refrigerator. Perfect room/location for anyone spending the day on Lake Anna.

An overnight stop

Check in was easy and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Room was renovated and clean. Hotel deceiving from outside. There is a restaurant attached to hotel but were only serving burgers during our stay. Found a great Italian restaurant close by - Vic’s. Only negative was the strong smell of deodorizer (perfume-like) in the room.

Very interesting diamond in the rough. Outside appearance would suggest a single star. But....the staff, layout, accommodations and 'home town' comfort of the rooms WELL make up for it! Would recommend this location to family, friends, or anyone coming to the area! Only downside....during my stay...the steakhouse is closed for renovations. So had to drive 3 minutes to get food.

The cost was cheap so didnt expect much. The room was Ok but for a cheap weekend at the lake it was great. We were only in the room to sleep. Most of the time we were on oir boat that we brought down for the weekend

Stayed multiple weekends for work. One weekend can be excellent and then the next completely terrible. Room keys go missing, multiple people are given the same room and oyu are walking into a room already occupied.

Getting better

WE understand that this property is under Renovation, but It was had to find someone for Clean Towels or to empty the trash in our room. What they have done is taking them in the right direction, but have a long way to go. We would return, as we feel they are trying.

We arrived at 9:30pm, and our room was not ready. I had reserved the room about 6 months ahead. We had to wait twenty minutes to get in to our room. The room wreaked of smoke. So disappointing. PLEASE CONSIDER OTHER OPTIONS.
