Once again, our stay at the Belvedere Strand Hotel in Spiez was beyond top class. Meals were exquisite, restaurant staff delightful, attentive & informative. Reception staff went above and beyond to help us out in a difficulty & always greeted us with a smile. The grounds were delightful and the views to the castle & harbour a joy to behold. Our favourite place .

Perfect lakeside stay

Wonderful location, beautiful views on the lake, mountains and castle. I loved being able to walk down the lake each morning for a swim, using the hotel's access and facilities (dressing room, toilet) right on the lakeside.

Very lovely stay. Beautiful views of the lake. Room was large and very comfortable with a full size tub for soaking after hikes all day. The trek to the train station from the hotel is uphill but manageable. Food at restaurant was average.
