Great location, around lots to do in walking distance. The room and hotel was very cute, however, this could have been a better experience. There was an annual festival happening the night we stayed and the hotel didn't bother to inform us until the day of. I confirmed parking when booking 3 months prior, but when we arrived, there was no direct parking due to the festival. It was also very loud until almost 2am and we didn't get much sleep. This could have been handled better and a heads up or some ear plugs would have been nice.

I think it is a hotel with a nice atmosphere and good hospitality. Upon arrival, they offered us welcome drinks. I was grateful and it was delicious since I was thirsty. There is also a bottle of filtered drinking water in the room. Moreover, there is a shared kettle and espresso machine in the hallway. It is nice to be able to drink coffee or tea freely. The room is spacious and the bed is large. There is also a shared terrace where you can eat and drink what you bring with you. The rooms are not air-conditioned, so it is a little difficult to sleep on hot days. If you sleep with the windows open, insects will enter the room, and security is also a concern. However, enjoying the inconveniences of travel should also be part of the experience. As for the daytime, opening the windows allows a breeze to come in, keeping the room cool. The large windows that can open are a pleasant feature. One disappointment regarding room cleaning was that the drain in the shower room was not adequately cleaned, so the next day the water drain was clogged and the water did not drain. At checkout, they gave us bottles of drink water. Overall, it was a hotel with a pleasant atmosphere, friendly and kind staff. The front desk staff were approachable.

Dear Team, I recently stayed at your hotel in Spiez and wanted to share some feedback about my experience. Firstly, I appreciated the cleanliness of the hotel and the warm welcome from your staff. However, I did notice a few areas that could be improved. The room did not have air conditioning, nor was there a minibar, which I found a bit inconvenient. Additionally, I felt that the pricing was quite high for the services provided. The breakfast was also underwhelming, with limited variety and quantity. Large bright apartment.

We had a nice time in Spiez. The apartment is spacious, bright, and clean. We did have a few issues: on checkin we were told we could decide in the morning about opting in to the hotel guest breakfast package or ordering a la carte, but in the morning we were told that was not an option. We had no soap in either shower even after asking. There were no dark curtains or shades so the rooms were incredible bright very early. One of the beds didn’t have pillows or duvet but we worked it out by moving them from another bed. We had an issue with a bathroom door that didn’t work properly and had a key so my son got locked in for a bit which was unsettling but he figured it out. Overall the staff did not make us feel valued or important, but we appreciated the space and the location.

There was a little confusion about checking in. We arrive late and the staff already left for the date. Our Apartment was in the separate building away from the main building. There was no elevator in that building. The staff was nice enough to come back and carry the suitcase for us since we live on the top floor of the building with no elevator. The room is huge and clean.

The hotel itself was excellent. It gave us amazing scenary from the hotel, within walking distance to the lake. The only but big problem was when checking in. I arrived shortly after 6pm, and the reception, entrance door was closed. The note at the door sent they have sent a password to me by email, to unlock the entrance door. However, I have not received it and needed to call the number indicated in the note to get a guidance on how to unlock. It was stressful and as I am from outside EU, it cost me not a cheap amount as it was an international telephone call.

Schöne Zimmer aber nur mittelmässiges Frühstück.

Das Zimmer war sehr nett und hübsch aber etwas hellhörig nach draussen. Das Frühstück war zu knapp und nicht nach unserer Vorliebe: Wir wollten eigentlich nicht fast nur Kohlenhydrate essen. Wir hätten uns mehr Fleisch, Milchprodukte, Eier und Gemüse gewünscht. Davon gab es nur Spuren. Das Frühstück basiert auf einem Brotkorb und Müesli. Mag den Geschmack von manchen treffen. Für uns war es etwas enttäuschend.
