This property, the Grand Stay in Spicer, MN, is in a great location, and has a really comfortable bed, and delicious breakfast, and friendly staff. We would stay here again! And did I mention the good price?!

The facility as a whole was in excellent condition. The entrance, pool & hot tub areas were very quaint and welcoming. The staff was wonderful and very helpful. The bed was a bit hard for my liking but everything else was great! Located across the street from Green Lake which is a great place to rent kayak or hang out at the beach.

The hotel is old and the switch from Best Western to Grandstay is still in process. Our room was very small, the bathroom was small, the breakfast area is tight, the tables are crowded. That said, the place is clean and staff very friendly.

The staff was very nice and friendly from the time I arrived. The room was clean and ready even for an early check-in. The rooms are a bit dated so don’t expect “modern”. The breakfast was great and they even made the eggs and sausage when I came down so they were hot and fresh. Overall I really enjoyed my stay even though the property is a bit dated. The family who owns and runs it are super nice and work so hard to give you a great experience. I would definitely recommend this hotel to folks but just don’t have high expectations of the property itself. The hot tub was great and the pool looked amazing but didn’t get in.
