The room was sub standard for the price (270 for a superior double per night) cob webs everywhere, stains on carpet, tobacco debris in the drawers, a wardrobe that was in need of repair, display cushions that were worn, pilled and dated, above all the room was infested with dozens...

The pub is from another era, a wonderful era. The food is great. The other customers were friendly and interesting. Next time we are anywhere near the area, we’re going to be staying there.”
