Vacations Close To Laugarvatn Fontana

It was a quick stay, just one night between Golden Circle and airport. Everything was nice.

The host was warm and friendly went above and beyond to show us our room even though is was after 11pm

This was a fine hotel and we enjoyed our stay, but the access was confusing. We arrived late and went to the hotel. They said to use the lockbox to get the key to enter since there was no one there. No problem, right? Well, when we entered the code and opened the box, there was no key in there!! We freaked out because it was 1am and the town was deserted. After nearly having a panic attack, we realized the door was open! Hahaha. A sign stating as much would have been nice. But once we were in, we got our key and went to our room. No problem. The free breakfast the next day was awesome! Overall, thumbs up for Hotel Jazz.

The Alda Hotel was fantastic! The staff were super friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and someone came by to clean up every day. The hotel breakfast was outstanding- a great way to get ready for a day of adventure!! And the gym and sauna were very nice. We found street parking within a block of the hotel every night. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Reykjavik!!

If you stay more than one night Your room and towels do not get cleaned , only every other Fresh water has to be bought No refrigerator in the room Felt more like a motel than a 4 star hotel Warm water smelled Continental breakfast was ok, When asked for berries that were available the first day We were told berries were only for restaurant guest, not for our breakfast though the wait staff did give us a small handful of blueberries when asked for The location was great Bathroom had soap, no shampoo or conditioner and all in all not very comfortable Again more like a motel that a four star hotel, so we were disappointed with our choice and would not recommend it to friends Parking was extremely difficult to find although I was led to believe it was easy to park on the street When No
