Lovely room. The porridge and pastry left for breakfast was a lovely touch and not expected. View from the balcony was great although I should imagine spectacular on a sunny day. Great communication prior to the arrival and fast response to my questions.

I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel. The place was clean, the bed was super comfy and the shower pressure was excellent. Parking was super convenient and view in the mornign was lovely. I also covered my hotel room on my YouTube channel.

The room was really nicely decorated and spacious enough for my stay. Bed was really comfortable and the bathroom was spotless. Only downside was that there are no facilities nearby as the pub is no longer functioning, however being brought up in Halifax I know my way around so this wasn't a problem. Complimentary breakfast items was a nice touch even though it is advertised as room only.

Lovely little find at a great price!

Excellent property with everything you could wish for! Lovely spacious room which was extremely clean. Comfy bed plus we were lucky enough to have a room with a little balcony. Short walk into the town which had plenty to offer. Will definitely check availability if we're back in the area.

Another excellent stay at the Hobbit host is very friendly and nothing too much trouble if you have any questions. Rooms are spotlessly clean and lovely decor. Car park right outside the door with ample parking. This time we had a ground floor room but still a lovely view of the valley. The porridge pots and croissants are a lovely touch. Also we were celebrating our anniversary and was given early check in and late check-out which was a great gesture. Will definitely be back

This is our third stay at the new hobbit. Communication is always great, offering early check in and check out if able. Perfect location for access to Halifax and piece hall and sowerby bridge itself. Very easy to get Uber pick up and drop off. Spotlessly clean with beautiful furnishings and a gorgeous view. Little extras like chilled water in the fridge, plenty of tea and coffee as well as the porridge pot and croissant for breakfast. Wonderful!

Lovely place to stay, the view was wonderful and so nice to sit on the balcony and watch the sunset. Shame there is no food at the property as you are on a very steep hill but a lovely touch of porridge and pastries for the morning. Will stay again
