“We stayed the night before our son's wedding. We booked two rooms. Both had a lot of mosquitoes. The other room also had some sort of bugs which inflicted nasty bites. The day after I called the pub to let them know they had an issue. I was told a manager would call me back. Four days later I have heard nothing. Very unimpressed. Will never stay again.”

“We were in an annex, not in the main hotel. The room was clean, but the space was very small with the 'bedroom' on a mezzanine floor. The roof sloped so much it was difficult not to crack your head on the ceiling. The bed was a small double. The towels were old and must have been washed using conditioner as they did not dry you after a shower. There was a beer festival on the weekend we stayed and the volume of the music outside was exceptionally loud and even inside the annex with the door and...

“Breakfast service didn’t start till 9am which was a bit late for our plans. Room was basic but clean”

“The room was basic and very hot. No fan provided, two extra pillows provided but without covers. In addition, one side of bed broken, two beside lamps not working and hotel surrounding is unkempt. Overall, the hotel seems isolated, outside needs more attention and provide the required amenities!”

“Very convenient location. Plenty of shops, supermarket and a pub. Large room, (triple room- 1 double & 1 single) Room clean but a little tired and needs a new carpet. Very comfortable bed. Easy parking 5 minute walk away, free overnight. Helpful staff, great breakfast. Ideal for a night and would definitely stay again.”

“Excellent food, very comfortable and spacious rooms, good sea view from no.29. Outside areas well maintained and served. Staff very friendly, courteous and helpful. Would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone. Only niggle: in mid-September, some menu items were missing.”
