Honestly an amazing stay. The bed was exceptional, room clean and bathroom quite clean. Exceptional in it is exactly what we wanted and needed. 5* not because it’s a ritz but because it’s clean, very comfortable and perfect location for cruise port.

We had a wonderful experience staying here during our time in Southampton. The property itself is lovely, and the team working here goes above and beyond to make you feel welcome. Our room was absolutely spotless, which is always a huge plus. The daily breakfast was delicious with plenty of options, and the location made exploring so easy. We were surrounded by shops and attractions all within a short walk.

The room was very clean, perfect for our needs for a one night stay. Only downside is that there is no receptionist waiting for guests’ arrival. Guests have to press a buzzer to be assisted, and staff was not always quick to respond. Everything ran smoothly after that, and we would definitely stay here again should we be sailing out of Southampton again.

It’s in a fabulous location 450 metres (up hill) from the central railway station and only 200 Metres from most of the best shopping in Southampton. I will be back if I cruise out of Southampton again - only 10 minutes in a taxi to the port which cost £12

Room was clean. The room had working air conditioning. Breakfast was excellent. Would recommend this Southampton hotel. Location was adequate with goid access to the train station and a lengthy (30 minutes) walk to the old town center. For the American travelers, the hotel does not provide wash cloths with the towels. Odd. Nonetheless, a very nice hotel.

The room was not very clean The coffee mugs were filthy. The chair arms were torn. The bathroom door didn't close. The staff was excellent and very hard working. We had to change rooms our second day due to a very loud noise in the bathroom fan. The staff member addressed our issue very quickly and efficiently. The breakfast was very good. The hotel was within walking distance of major attractions and restaurants. Thank you staff of Premier Inn for a very nice stay.

We stayed for one night prior to boarding a cruise. For one night, arriving late and departing early it was an okay stay for that price. However, we reserved two identical rooms, the state of the rooms were in need of some update, our shower didn’t have a curtain (while the other room’s shower did) and with the room fully set for a family of four - the beds were stacked from wall to wall and the only way to get in was climbing the front of the bed. Also, the breakfast was very limited in variety.
