The staff was excellent and attentive. Checking in and out was a breeze. Tables weren’t cleaned soon after people left after breakfast. Many times you had to wait for a table. Breakfast was decent.

Stayed prior to a cruise. Great location. Really comfortable and clean room. Nice breakfast buffet with good variety. One elevator was out of service during our stay which made things a bit painful considering the number of guests at the hotel.

We enjoyed our pre-cruise stay at the Moxy, and believe that you will, too. Arriving in Southampton by train from London, it was a short walk (no more than 10 minutes) from the station to the hotel. It was a leisurely 20-minute walk to the ship. The staff were sincerely friendly and helpful. We were greeted with a smile and welcome drink. The menu in the bar area was excellent -- and the breakfast was super.

We had a quick overnight before boarding our cruise. The hotel is great. Right next to a shopping mall, very convenient location. The staff are fantastic, very responsive and helpful. For me the most important part of a hotel experience is cleanliness. Room lacked that. Pillows had stains, one towel had a hole, carpet had a bunch of stains everywhere, walls had stains as well, shower had mold on the grout, toilet dirty, I mean… But the overall hotel location is great, right across from the mall. Breakfast was overall basic but good. Staff was nice. Hotel amenity space/lobby area was clean.

It is very convenient, a few minutes walk to the biggest Westquay shopping mall, the gate and the walking street at Southampton. Their breakfast starts at 6am, which is helpful for early leaving tenants.
