Staff was friendly and helpful which makes this review tough. The reason I was not happy was due to the overwhelming smell of curry in the entire hotel. The smell was so strong that it gave me an instant headache. I almost left to go home because I couldn't handle the smell. I actually LOVE curry but feel like every single room was cooking it and it was just everywhere with no escape. The smell was even in the linens and walls. This made it extremely hard to relax and just take a deep breath. Very unhappy...but definitely not the staffs fault.

Rude customer service on the phone . Room was nice and spacious. The bed was hard as the asphalt this hotel sits on . Pillows felt like a stack of papers in a pillowcase . The breakfast was rubbish.Just to go old muffins and bars . No coffee @ 8:25AM no staff around Ahahaha and no bell to let them know someone is in need of assistance . AND FOR THE PRICE !!! a night Fri. 02.23.2024- 02.25.2024 ughhh blooody rip off . Very unfortunate.It really was waste for my birthday trip I wished I should’ve just not gotten a room there . Buuuuut I did. Thank you .

It is probably an above average stay for San Jose, it is weird the room has stove and microwave, but no pans, plates or tableware. No shower curtain either, front desk provided one when asked. Hallways need more vacuuming.
