A good economical option in South Bend. Very convenient for a quick drive to Notre Dame. Rooms have been refurbished and are nice. Lighting in rooms could improve as the windows are smaller and rooms dark. The white light makes it somewhat brighter but cold light is not that welcoming. Would stay here again

The staff was very helpful during my short stay. Breakfast was decent. The pancake maker was fun and the pancakes tasted good too. There was one item in the choices that I was not very happy about. The two things that could be improved were: 1) My room had some soda or something spots on the wall. The caulking in the bathroom sink was falling off as hands were being washed. 2) The eggs in the breakfast selection were not all that great. Other than those things, it’s a good place for a stop over or longer stay.

Walls are thin and you could hear the neighboring guests. Kids set up a hockey net and were playing on upper deck. This was extremely noisy. Maybe invest in white noise machines for the rooms. Also the room doors closing were very loud. Room was clean, nicely updated
