The AC worked well and it was located nearby the train station. It was quiet and had good parking. We got two towels and two washcloths total for two nights' stay for two people. There was no hand towel or floor mat for the shower, which sprayed water sideways out of the head so the bathroom floor stayed wet. The top blanket had stains on it and the fitted sheet seemed too small for the mattress - it kept coming off the corners. We tried to watch the TV and it was jumpy and the sound kept dropping out.

This was an interesting place. Low cost in an area that can be expensive. Nothing fancy, no breakfast. Towels were adequate but not luxury by any means. Working person's place. But it was clean. It felt safe with its limited access set up. Rooms circled the parking lot with a narrow entrance that passed by the office. Fridge with real freezer compartment and microwave. Good mattress and pillows. Basic needs met at a low price.

Very wonderful stay if you're going to just be there 2 or 3 days it's more like a trucker motel however it was nice soda machine was broken and everything but they were very nice the front desk was very nice the rooms are clean it was a little bit of a smoky smell however it wasn't that bad

We were given an upgrade when we checked in which was appreciated. The front desk was very kind and helpful giving information. The room was clean and smelled very clean. This is a motor lodge and very close to the highway. As such, I suggest bringing earplugs for the noise if that bothers you. The bed was comfortable. This is a no frills motel, so don't expect perfection. For the price, it was worth the one night stay.

Great bang for your buck

Excellent value. Inexpensive without compromising cleanliness. Close to South Amboy Station. Pillows needed updating and only 2 provided. Walls are a little thin, but it wasn’t too loud. Definitely recommend this place if you’re on a budget.

The outside parking lot and location was terrible, but the price was fantastic. I was shocked at the room itself, it was absolutely immaculate. Everything was extremely clean,smelled great. The staff was meh, but they tried being nice and if you needed something it was done immediately

This is a motor lodge and that means cars in and out. I expected it, but another patron was complaining about it. Check in was done somewhat quickly but the type of room I reserved wasn't first available and I was offered a similarly priced room; however, the king became available during checkin. It was fine for a stopover.
