We had wonderful 2 nights, breakfast and dinner at Landhuis Klein Santa Maria. The view is so beautiful and it is close to many wonderful beaches. The staff was great and we felt immediately at home.

The hotel was peaceful, intimate, and beautiful. The history was cool. The bathroom could have been a tad cleaner but the fixtures were new, and the room was nicely decorated. The local stew plate and pumpkin pancakes were yummy. The snack plate mat have been freezer food (but different for us). The service was lackluster.

Unique is the location and the estate. But there were some problems. The douche was broken. The light next to the bed was broken and flickering . The fitting was unsafe. The fridge was making nouse and the swimmingpool was not clean. Also the personal brought in their family with children and while we we want to enjoy the beatiful panorama one of thechildren was a long time jumping around our table and in front of us . Nobody was taking attention about that. So for us the price for staying was to high related to this inconvenience. We wrote the owner about this but until now no answer.

Pathetic Customer service

Haven’t experienced such a pathetic customer service . Staff is so rude and gets pissed off with guest for every smallest thing asked for . Pool is full of roaches . Not at all a good experience if staying with family .

Nice, peaceful hotel, perfect for couples

This was a unique hotel experience. We enjoyed the hotel very much and the setting and views of the lagoon are beautiful. In addition, the food experience was fantastic and the chef accommodated my wife's gluten free meal needs. The pool was very nice and the proximity to the beaches in the north part of the island made it ideal for us. The only issues was that the wind constantly blows and the windows are not air tight. It made a sound that was at times loud throughout the night. Also, the hotel lost power due to an electrical storm. This was not a huge issue except we could not check out and settle our bill. Overall a very nice hotel experience in a nice, quiet setting.

We booked a long-term stay for December 2025 through January 2026 for our wedding, honeymoon, and winter break. On December 30, 2025, housekeeping entered our cottage and left the door open. Our dog escaped during this time. We were not notified for approximately two hours. The property owner did not contact us directly or provide an incident report. Our dog, Pax, has been missing since that date. As of writing this review, it has been 34 days. The property also had multiple maintenance issues during our stay, including power outages, septic odors, flooding in the shower, malfunctioning air conditioning, and excessive noise at night. The accommodations did not match the listing photos. Future guests should be aware of these issues, particularly those traveling with pets.

Heerlijk verblijf

Prachtig gelegen kleinschalig hotel met uitstekend restaurant.De mooiste stranden liggen op een paar km afstand evenals de Christopher berg. We hebben hier vier dagen verbleven en hebben telkens gebruik gemaakt van het restaurant . Men kan buiten eten met zicht op de prachtige baai en de kaart biedt voldoende afwisseling om een aantal dagen te verblijven. Uiterst vriendelijk personeel en zeer correcte prijzen.

The food at the restaurant was good. The hotel was ok they kept it clean daily. The main complaints i have are the noise there is dogs on the property and they bark loud i was woke up a few times in the middle of the night my room also had a dog odor lingering. Bugs. At night bugs were coming in from outside i reported it and they did the best to resolve the issue
