The property was absolutey lovely, clean , location was right on the strip next to shopping, dining...The roof top terrace is where we had our continetal breakast every morning. The staff were so helpful and awesome. We stayed seven nights ...If we ever make it back to Sorrento that is where I would stay again..

We had a fantastic 5 night stay at Residenza Il Campanile and highly recommend it. The hotel is located on a street with lots of stores, eateries, coffee and gelato shops. We loved the location and walked everywhere. It is very close to everything - Piazza Tasso, the train station, bus stations (to the Almafi Coast), souvenir shops, etc. Virna and Antonella were so lovely and helpful and made our stay very special. Breakfast was great as well. Will definitely stay there again.

Perfect location in the heart of Sorrento. Walking distance to everything and the staff was so helpful from the start, with our early check in to the finish, with our extremely early departure. Will definitely tell our friends!

Amazing location on a pedestrian street and close to many restaurants and shops. The hotel was very clean and the breakfast was great. The host Loredana is super helpful and provided great tips on things to do and helped organize a day trip for us to nearby Amalfi and Ravello.

Lots to like and I would happily recommend anyone to stay here. Be aware that there is no lift and stairs are quite steep. Staff are excellent but are not on site 24/7 however are easily contactable via WhatsApp and are extremely helpful. Breakfast is on an open air terrace with lovely views, however during our stay it was too cold to sit out. There are 2 small tables under cover or you can take breakfast to your room.

Amazing Stay!

We had an amazing stay. Room was clean with a gorgeous view. Air conditioning worked well in the late July heat. Loredana was incredible with recommendations and helping with breakfast. Location couldn’t be better - quick walk from the train and right in the heart of Sorrento. We hope to come back!

The residence is great, very well located and the room is very nice and comfortable. The staff is also very friendly. Only negative side is that the windows don’t isolate the outdoor’s sound, meaning you can hear even when someone is speaking on the phone on the street. And given that it’s a touristy street, there is noise almost all night (people, duomo bells, street cleaning), so I would recommend to bring ear plugs. Otherwise it would be a perfect place to stay! :)

This was a great option right on Corso Italia street, the main avenue connecting the old square, and easy walk to main port. The area itself is where all the action in the city takes place. If you want to be in the center, This is it. Room: Very nice and clean, Ac in room. Large bathroom and everything is super clean. Great stay and location for the money.

The Residenza il Campanile was more than what I was expecting. The hotel is in a very convenient spot. Walking distance to both the train station and the port. The hotel is in the heart of Sorrento. It’s on the main road where all the bigger stores are located. It has easy access to all things. Sorrento the main road could get loud at night. But it wasn’t too bad from my room. The staff was excellent. They’re very accommodating and quite helpful I would highly recommend staying here.

The location was ideal. We felt part of the Centre of Sorrento. Our rooms were very clean and modern. Loredana was very accomading, friendly and service oriented. Breakfast was very punctual filling and just right especially with cappuccino and expresso made fresh at the rooftop with a view. Stairs are a bit of a challenge for older less mobile individuals. Church is next door however the bells did not bother us. Lovely place and best location right in the middle of all the action, music, shopping, dining, ambiance. The Ferry to Capri was only a 10 min. Walk which was very convenient and saved us money, no taxi needed. Finally, Loredana even helped my parents with their luggage and brought us to the taxi location about 500 yards away. Thank you! 👌

Loredana (property manager) was the best thing about this place. She was very helpful and nice. The property/room was good (clean and comfortable). We hated the noise between 7pm and midnight. To be fair and clear, we stayed there from Friday to Monday and our room was situated on the 2nd floor, directly over the main square in this touristy district. The church conducted a charity event with live musicians so we were basically in the front row of this concert from 7pm to midnight. We were not able to sleep or even talk because the only thing we could hear was the music. Without the noise, our rating would have been a 5. Without Loredana, our rating would have been a 1.

Virna was so helpful upon check in. Room was very clean and spacious. We had a balcony onto the Main Street. It was nice to open up and hear the sounds from the city. Breakfast each morning on rooftop terrace was great. They were so accommodating to us. Would definitely come back here if we return.
