Our second stay at The Michelangelo. It's a fantastic location for everything in Sorrento or to travel further with the trains, buses and ferries nearby. Room comfortable, clean and quiet. A good variety of food on offer for breakfast (loved the cakes!) and a nice number of choices on the set menu in the evening (if you've booked half board). Three levels of sun terrace are nice for relaxing away from the busy town. Staff friendly and helpful. Hopefully we'll return for a third time.

Overall the hotel was very well maintained and the staff were very helpful and friendly. Special mention to Francesco in the restaurant and Nice in Sky Bar - plus also to the front desk team for answering queries via the messaging facility in Expedia. It was in a great location which made walking into town, the shops and the beach/ferries really handy. Whilst the breakfast was included in the rate which was good - after a week it felt very samey with no real changes over the week. But this was only a minor negative.

This is such a wonderful hotel in Sorrento; highly recommend if you're staying in the Sorrento area. It's about a 5 minute walk from the train station, a 10 minute walk from the center of town (where there is all of the little streets with shops and restaurants), and a 10 minute walk from the port, which is where a lot of the ferries to the Amalfi Coast towns are located. The hotel room was modern, spacious, and clean; the bathroom was large and very comfortable. The breakfast was very good with a good variety of options. There is also a terrace on the top floor of the hotel with views of Sorrento; the hotel gives you a free welcome drink on arrival to enjoy at the rooftop bar, which was such a beautiful way to start our trip! 10/10

We had an amazing stay at the hotel! From our welcome drinks at their bar while playing cards till the check out and transportation to the airport arranged by the hotel. Property is right next to Sorrento railway station, less than 10mins walk into the main part of town. The room was clean and well presented, with plenty of space for two people. Staff were friendly and helpful, always happy to answer questions. The breakfast catered for different tastes and was a handy option for the start of the day. What a lovely hotel, it’s just a few mins walk from the drop off point at the station and again a few mins to walk into the center. the food was excellent, the staff so polite and couldn’t do enough for you and the rooms very and clean and well decorated, the furniture immaculate and beds comfortable. Our floor never felt clean and we left our shoes at our door. The pool had green algae around edges and was in tge shad and very cold. No ledge to sit on, just a ladder, its a liner pool, not gunite. The other 2 are basically hot tubs. Breakfast is a big selection but not very good quality. The coffee was from a machine and tasted like instant coffee. The fruit was mostly canned fruit, only 1 fresh option. There is no ac in the hallways or elevators. There are still steps to haul your luggage up even using the elevator. On the plus side the bar attendants upstairs on patio were very responsive and flexible and tgere is a view from there. The location is pretty close to train which is good.
