Excellent choice for a Sorrento stay and only 3-5 minute walk to the main town square. Laundry available and air conditioner worked well! Staff was friendly and helpful. Only point to be aware of is things a very old building and there is no elevator. The property is on the 3rd floor so you have to carry anything you bring with you up the stairs.

Great location, but be prepared to walk up many stairs with luggage. No lift. Beautiful location among trees, central to shopping, main piazza, and beach clubs. You can see the sun every afternoon as it shines into your bathroom. Loved the bathroom and the window view.

We had such a wonderful stay in Sorrento at casa enzina. We’d highly recommend casa enzina, especially for a single person or a couple. We thought the room and location were super romantic. And the location was close to everything in Sorrento. Our host, Marco, was awesome. Made us feel so welcome.

The room was in a beautiful historic building. Partially apartment and partially rented as hotel rooms. Our room was very clean and quiet. We had a late check in. We had to communicate with the property manager and he met us at the apartment upon arrival. Was very communicative the whole time.

The room was absolutely gorgeous, clean, and huge compared to all the other stays we had in Italy. All accomodations were met and Guiseppe was very helpful and kind. Room was warm, inviting, and the bathroom stunned. The view from the second floor was also impressive.

First, the bad. The website suggests that rooms are on the second floor. It was 66 steps up with no elevator making it more like a 4th floor. A tough hike especially after walking around Sorrento. The good….Marco was a great host. The hotel is clean and in a great location, one block from the main piazza in Sorrento. The hotel has some history and is quite a spectacle in itself. Rooms were nice. Small refrigerators in each room. Some with nice balconies. One even had a piano. All great if you can tolerate the stairs up and down.

Location was great: short walk from the station, and to many scenic places and good restaurants. Room was clean and well equipped. Owner was super kind and understanding; very detailed instructions for check-in, and responses to any questions were fast. They gave great recommendations for all different kinds of food in the area. Casa Enzina is an excellent choice for independent travelers. First, location: it is a 5 minute walk from the Sorrento railway station and is about the same distance from the town's main street (Corso d'Italia). It is a guesthouse, not a hotel: Marco (the host) let us into the apartment when we arrived and explained the kitchen and laundry. Throughout our stay, I communicated with Marco via WhatsApp, and he was unfailingly responsive and helpful. The building itself is a very grand palazzo (probably dating to the early 19th century) that overlooks a spectacular ravine. The apartment was spacious and light, with a beautiful view across a garden. The climate-control worked beautifully. In sum, I recommend Casa Enzina unreservedly, and am already thinking about staying there again next year. (Note: the only reason I awarded just 4 stars in one category is that the washing machine wasn't working properly when we arrived; this caused minor inconvenience, but it was fixed by the end of the next day.)
