Hotel Casa Candela near Sopetrán, Antioquia, exceeded expectations. The property is gated, beautifully maintained, and has a peaceful atmosphere with beautiful mountain views. We stayed in the Superior Villa, and the mountain view from the villa was one of the highlights of the stay. The private hot tub was also a really nice touch and made the villa feel even more comfortable and relaxing. The service throughout our stay was excellent. The staff were helpful, courteous, and efficient. Room service was awesome, and the food was excellent. The facilities were another major highlight, especially the pool and spa. I especially want to give a shout out to the spa staff, who exceeded service expectations. Even if you are not staying overnight, the hotel seems like a great option for a day pass to enjoy the pool and facilities. Overall, the experience felt well worth the price, and I would definitely return.

Hotel Casa Candela in Sopetrán is a gem! Just an hour from Medellín, this boutique hotel offers cozy, elegant rooms with stunning mountain views. The infinity pool, spa, and yoga classes were highlights, and the food—especially the fresh breakfasts and cocktails—was fantastic. Warm, attentive staff made us feel right at home. Perfect for a relaxing escape in Antioquia’s jungle. Can’t wait to return!

It was an incredible hotel. Staff was attentive to all our needs. A social thanks to Alexis and Juan Pablo, these two gentleman could not do enough for us. They were concerned of all our needs. They went above and beyond to make us happy and confortable. Needless to say all their staff were helpful and friendly. Would definitely recommend and stay there again.

The place in general is very nice but it doesn't seem to me that to access the jacuzzi or relaxation areas you have to pay for the spa, since in similar places there are no extra charges, when making a balance between price and what they offer there is no the accessibility of what is expected, and also the prices of the restaurant are very high being in Colombia, I don't think that someone native would be accessible
