The hotel is situated in the downtown area of Soltau. Shopping, restaurants, bars and museums are all in walking distance. Access to the entire Heidekreis by car is excellent. Even so the hotel was quiet. The hotel was clean and the service staff was friendly. The furniture and the interior of the hotel were old, reminiscent of the 60s and 70s. The bed was a bit too small for me and the pillow somewhat uncomfortable. Nevertheless, I felt that the cost-benefit ratio was acceptable. Breakfast was good. I would stay at the hotel again.

Small property... I get it... it's not like a big-brand 5-star hotel. Still, I expect some basics. The room smelled funny, even after I aired it out. The radiator in the bathroom does not work. The shower frequently cycled between scorching hot and freezing cold water. The "free breakfast" does not get restocked, so cold cuts that were consumed yesterday would be empty today--no new alternatives, just that spot is now empty. The upholstery is severely stained and worn on the chairs in their "restaurant" area. Also, no elevator, so be prepared to carry all luggage up the stairs! Overall, very disappointing, and I don't plan to go back.

Die Zimmer waren sehr sauber allerdings schon deutlich in die Jahre gekommen. Der Boden war teils sehr uneben speziell im Bettbereich und es war generell recht hellhörig im Hotel (Gespräche und Schritte in anderen Zimmern/Etagen) waren zu hören. Das Bad war in Ordnung, es ist halt nicht mehr aktuell und eine Bodenleiste in der Dusche ist abgefallen. Das Bad war aber auch durchweg sauber. Das Frühstück war okay, ich würde dafür jetzt nicht aufstehen (Kaffee gibt es nur Filterkaffee in Kannen und der Saft ist extrem verwässert, die Brötchen (es gibt nur 1 Sorte) sind sehr hart). Eier gibt es nur gekocht (5 und 7 min) kein Rührei oder generell irgendetwas warmes. Normalerweise übernachten wir im Heide-Park selbst, dort wurde allerdings zu diesem Zeitpunkt ein Preis von 400 € für die reine Übernachtung verlangt. Das Hotel Meyn ist ein akzeptables Hotel für eine Nacht ich werde aber in Zukunft auf andere Hotels in der Region ausweichen die moderner sind und speziell jetzt im Sommer über eine Klimaanlage verfügen.

Hotellet virker temmelig slidt, især værelset. Hvis man som os får et værelse ud mod vejen, er der meget støj fra trafikken, indtil kl. 24 og igen fra kl. 05. Det er med lukkede vinduer. Hvis vi åbnede vinduerne, var det endnu værre. Det havde vi egentlig brug for, da der var meget varmt på værelset. Morgenmaden var fin og personalet venligt.

Privat rejse med min kone, hotellet er gammelt og nogle vil mene, det trænger til renovering. For os var det perfekt, der er pænt og rent overalt, betjeningen er super og prisen er helt rimeligt.

Sehr alte Möbel, es war auch zudem sehr hellhörig. Das Bad war schon eher nicht so meins. Hab da auch nicht duschen wollen 😂 Wollte in den Heide Park und dafür war’s ausreichend. Frühstück klar aber sehr angenehm.

Positivt er beliggenheden. Hotellet er total nedslidt, ramponeret, beslidte gulvtæpper med huller, værelserne er et levn fra 60'erne, bare uden nogen form for vedligeholdelse eller opdatering. Burde omgående rykkes ned og bygges nyt.
