Had an amazing 2 night stay here, the location is incredible, set against the mountains with an endless view across the desert. Staff are super friendly and welcoming, rooms are great with good AC, especially liked the terrace off the room where you can watch the sunset, sunsets here are incredible. The breakfast and dinner was ok, not amazing, but the location and staff made up for the food quality.

Stay here when going to Sossuvlei

Great service. Tangeny was a great host and knew so much to share about the area. The dinner was good. Lots of animals to see near property. Easy access to Sossuvlei.

Good accommodation in the middle of the wilderness

during low season, we had been the only guests. Makes dinner/breakfast a bit feeling lonely. Therefore, for dinner we went to the main lodge (at the fuel station, approx 6km from the Solitaire Desert Farm). The toaster for the bread was defect, made black tiles only... Otherwise: very nice, very quite, great star-gazing. Rooms are very spacious. Clean pool. Missing the owner to say "hello" (was on premise). Warhogs seen at the water-hole.

Schönes Zimmer und freundliches Personal. Ein Pool in schöner Lage. Das Frühstück war leider nicht sehr gut, es fehlte Marmelade und Joghurt. Trotzdem waren wir sehr zufrieden.

Nice rooms but bad food

Lovely rooms with thatched roof only a few km from the main road. Food was a disappointment though, it was a la carte and no buffet, which would be perfectly fine but the menu contained mostly burgers which is not what I want to eat in a lodge. The only decent option was a game steak which was small, overcooked and had a very unpleasant liver taste. Breakfast was equally bad, a buffet with very few options, all pre-cooked, the scrambled egg half liquid and the bacon brown and ugly. If we ever eat here again we will stock up at solitaire's apple pie before we enter the premises and not touch any item offered here.

편한한 롯지에서 가족여행보다 캠핑여행자들이 잠시 들리는 아름다운 공잔

숙소 환경은 아름답고 편안한 분위기로 좋았지만 롯지의 경우 숙소 내부 시설은 냉장고나 TV는 없고 침대와 에어컨이 시설이 되어 있습니다. 창문과 메인 문의 잠금 장치 개선이 필요합니다. 조식의 경우 나미비아 대부분 숙소에서 별도로 계란과 베이컨, 버섯과 전통소세시 등이 나오는데 여기는 별도 접시에 계란만 지급해 주었습니다. 가족여행이라도 롯지보다는 캠핑사이트 이용이 이 숙소의 장점으로 평가 됩니다. 아름다운 캠핑사이트로는 손색이 없습니다. 다만 가장 가까운 마트와 거리가 비포장 도로 7km 이상 떨어져 있어 숙소에 방문하기 전에 필수품 구입을 하시기 바랍니다.

Trevligt behagligt ställe för en övernattning

En trevlig upplevelse med positiv personal, stora rum med möjlighet till att sitta precis utanför. Trevligt pool område. Middagen var begränsad i menyn och drar ner helhetsintrycket lite. Platsen ger en känsla av att det satsats mycket men fått nya ägare som förvaltar och inte längre utvecklar. Har inga belägg att det är så, men stället gav mig den känslan. Kan fortfarande rekommenderas.

Die Anlage ist sehr schön und das Personal ist sehr zuvorkommend. Wir hatten bei der Anreise eine Panne 50 km vor der Farm und der Manager der Farm hat uns persönlich abgeholt und weitergeholfen. Das Schwimmbad ist sauber und schön. Das Essen ist sehr gut. Eine klare Weiterempfehlung!

Wunderherrliches Setting - 7 km von der Hauptverkehrsstraße. Es gibt dort ein eigenes Wasserloch und einen wunderbar gepflegten Kaktusgarten. Das Frühstück war sehr gut und im Garten gibt es viele Sitzgelegenheit mit schönem Ausblick auf die Umgebung. Wir waren begeistert.

Sans hésiter tout est parfait

Nous voyageons depuis quinze jours en Namibie Cet hôtel au milieu de nulle part est hyper sympa Une belle piscine très propre un manager venant d Afrique du Sud aux petits soins avec nous un très bon dîner ( miam miam ) des chambres confortables et un environnement. Ou on peut marcher sans problème et prix corrects

Hotel.com not showed this booking in app, I try to contact a lot of times by phone and emails, I have 10 emails asking about this booking and I decide to booking another hotel because the app of hotels.com didnt give to me any information, untill now in by booking area of the website dont appear this booking. So, I contact the Solitaire Desert Farm to comunicate this and try to cancel without any fee because is not my fault, but Hotels.com fault and they charge me. I want my refund from hotels.com of this booking cause I DONT STAYED THERE!
