It has a superb location next to ROman archeological site and walkable park. Dinner was very good and staff extremely helpful.

We had a great stay at the Hotel Salona Palace! It is truly next door to the incredible ruins, and we spent a great morning wandering the ruins from the hotel. The rooms were very well appointed and the view was gorgeous.

Overall we enjoyed our stay. Hotel is nice and modern, has easy access to public transit, and a good breakfast buffet. Our room had a couple minor issues like a water stain on the ceiling of the bathroom, excess water leaking around the door of the shower when we showered, and our toilet seemed to run for awhile after flushing .As well, the sound proofing was average as we could hear a decent amount of outside noise, but overall no major issues and we weren't there long enough to feel the need to complain about these things. We like that the room had double sinks and a rainfall shower, and the bed was clean and comfortable, and the hotel itself was in a quieter area of Split and easy to find. So overall we'd recommend this hotel, just some minor things that could be improved.

Very comfortable stay. The hotel is away from the city centre but a bus from outside the hotel goes every half hour into the old town

The hotel is in a really good location, quiet away from the busyness of Split but with a bus stop outside the hotel with regular services it was very easy. We loved the helpfulness of the staff, the pool and spa was nice too. A really good find and we were made very welcome

The hotel staff were really friendly and helpful - reception, dining, cleaning and pool staff. They all spoke English, which helped immensely. The local bus into Split stopped right outside the hotel making it easy to go into the town.

A delightful hotel with magnificent facilities. The recreation facilities in particular are sensational. Our only problem was that our room was above the function room where a wedding was held and the music went until the wee hours. Otherwise - magnificent.

Pretty Good for a Brand New Hotel

You expect some kinks in a hotel that has only been open for a week, but this place did surprisingly well. Most importantly, the staff, from bar manager to housekeeping could not have been nicer. And the food, both breakfast and dinner, always iffy for a new hotel was terrific. The downsides-- the suite we had booked wasn't yet finished they said, so we had to accept a smaller room. And despite the hotel being practically empty, they put us in a wing where work was still going on, so there was a bit of dodging workmen and smelling paint.

Nice clean rooms with good breakfast and dinner for half board option. Only drawback was the leisure facilities are not as big and the indoor pool is really a tiny pit. Jacuzzi was not functional on majority of days.

Das Hotel hat eine gute Lage, einen schönen Ausblick auf Split und kostenlose Parkplätze. Auch die Größe des Zimmers war angenehm. Leider überwiegen für uns jedoch die negativen Erfahrungen. Der Empfang bei der Ankunft war unfreundlich und wenig herzlich – man fühlte sich nicht wirklich willkommen. Während unseres Aufenthalts gab es im Zimmer einige Mängel: Das Bett wurde in vier Nächten nicht gemacht, das Bettlaken hatte Löcher, der Bademantel war stark beschädigt, Hygienebeutel wurden nicht nachgefüllt, der Duschkopf war verschimmelt und die Heizung sehr staubig. Auch beim Frühstück hat uns die Freundlichkeit und Qualität gefehlt: kein Lächeln, kein „Guten Morgen“, das Spiegelei war kalt, das Rührei pampig und nicht durch, die Waffeln steinhart. Für ein Hotel mit 4 Sternen und Spa-Ausrichtung hatten wir deutlich mehr erwartet. Wir haben auf unserer Rundreise in einfacheren Hotels übernachtet, die wesentlich sauberer und gastfreundlicher waren.

We thought the food was great! Property was great! Staff was great! Everything around the area was so much fun. The bathroom situation was strange-glass doors and curtains. You could easily run into the doors at night and not much privacy.
