Great location and great value

The hotel seems new or, at the very least, newly remodeled. There is an outdoor pool which is free to use and very kid friendly. A sauna is in the basement, for a small fee, it is small but clean. They allow you to hang out on the rooftop, which is fantastic; it makes for wonderful nighttime views of the skyline. I would definitely stay again if I returned to Sokcho.

I was extremely disappointed with this property. This has been the first disappointing experience in my 2 monthโ€™s long trip in Korea. When I arrived to check in, the staff was very disorganized and they didnโ€™t even know I was coming. They kept asking for my reservation number. I book accommodations on Expedia monthly in various countries and this was the first time the staff didnโ€™t expect me or send a greeting before. I had to find the reservation number for them to find me in the system. Showing my passport was not enough. Then, they placed me exactly by the elevator. I stayed for 3 nights and probably slept a total of 7-8 hours during my stay because of how noisy this hotel was. So many families with kids screaming on the hallway and constant traffic due to being right ij from of the elevator. I would never stay at this property in the future and I absolutely do not recommend this property to travelers without children who want to rest. I have 2 kids of my own so the only way I might consider coming back here in the future is for a family trip. But for solo traveling or couples traveling, this is a no-no! You will get no rest! Very, very noisy hotel and outdatedโ€ฆ
