Orca Lodge was an excellent choice! All amenities you could possibly need are in the room. The view is spectacular and the deck is the perfect place to start your morning with the tied out and end your day feeling like you were floating on the water.

Great spot on top of the water

We really enjoyed our stay at the Orca Lodge. The view is amazing and sitting on the deck while the tide is in, feels like you're on top of the water. The hosts are wonderful people that helped us out and were friendly and hospitable.

I can't say enough Orca Lodge and it's staff and owners. The best equipped kitchenette we've come across and the ocean front accommodations were awesome. The 75th birthday wishes complete with a saxophone playing happy birthday for my wife was awesome and something she will remember. Thank you Tina and company. We also got a flat tire with the owner putting us in touch with a local islander with a tire fixing unit. A trip saver as the new SUV does not come with a donut tire and no garages on Malcolm Island. Only bad thing was weather raining on our last day there. Will come again.

Awesome view, excellent communication, small but well designed interior with natural wood shelves and heated bathroom floor! Met lovely cleaning lady Tina. We recommend Coho Joe's for breakfast and a hike to beautiful Melvin's bog.

I stayed at the Orca Lodge for one night and it was amazing. There's all the facilities needed, including a fridge, airfryer, tv, bbq on the deck etc. and the view from the lodge is fantastic. However, what really stood out was the exceptional kindness and service from the host (Lynne) and Tina who cleans the lodge. I accidentally left my AirPods behind after checking out and had already traveled to another island, both only accessible by ferry. They went out of their way to arrange for my AirPods to be transported on the ferry to Port McNeill and left safely at the ticket office for me to collect the next day. It must have taken considerable time and effort on their part, and I was genuinely touched by their willingness to help. This level of care and hospitality is rare and greatly appreciated. Thank you Lynne and Tina!

The studio was perfect for our short stay on Malcolm Island - was super well equipped and we loved the warmed bathroom floor. The view out over the water was amazing and we had a perfect sunset.I enjoyed the history of Sointula and the icing on the cake was a visit to Bere Point where we saw Orca come in to the rubbing beach. Amazing! Thanks Lynne for your hospitality!

We had a fantastic stay at Orca Lodge last weekend! The views were absolutely spectacular, and the lodge was so convenient and incredibly well equipped with everything we needed. It was the perfect place to relax and enjoy the beautiful surroundings. We loved our stay and would definitely return!

It had the most amazing view!! My only suggestion would be to buy groceries before you get on the island because the grocery store is very expensive and everywhere you can order a meal is either closed very early or only open a couple days a week. Beautiful place though and Lynne was amazing! Loved staying at Orca Lodge.

The room we stayed in was very clean and had everything we needed for our stay, including toaster oven, microwave, small coffee pot, kettle, hot plate, pots pans etc.. There was a small BBQ on the deck with utensils and it was very clean as well. We loved the deck, it was right on the ocean and we could hear the waves come underneath the deck at high tide. The view was spectacular!!! We would definitely recommend staying here, and when back to Sointula this will be where we stay. The host contacted us the day before we were to arrive and let us know about how the check in worked and also sent us an email with all the information we needed to check in as well as places to see on the island
