The rooms were very clean. The front desk staff was extremely friendly and helpful. They helped us call and book local Bulgarian restaurants. The hotel is located next to a convenient metro stop and we were easily able to get around the city.

Modern, stylish building within walking distance of Sofia’s city centre, shops, and restaurants. Our room was spacious, spotless, and thoughtfully restocked with water and coffee each day. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the bathroom had a luxurious feel. Breakfast was delicious, with excellent coffee, and the staff were professional, welcoming, and attentive. We received correct, polite service. The entire hotel was clean and modern, the room was spacious and well equipped and of course spotlessly clean. I would most likely choose Aurora on a repeat visit to Sofia.

Overall it was a nice hotel. The room was fine, spacious and clean. It was close enough to walk to the centre of Sofia, about a 40 minute walk, and there were sone reasonable places to eat nearby. I did have to go and buy black teabags and milk for my room, as they generally only supply coffee or herbal tea, neither of which I drink. There was a fridge in the room. The only disappointment was that I got up to have breakfast early on Saturday, as I had a tour planned, only to be told breakfast was not served until 08.30, so I had to go without. Weedays it is served between 07.00 and 09.30.
