Very clean hotel and nice staff. The spa is good however, I would have preferred service there as using a phone to order is not great as don’t have a phone in the spa. Food was good and breakfast as well.

Excellent service, very good breakfast, beautiful surroundings.Short walk to Göta kanal, free parking, free pool. Very nice. Only really negative thing was the lack of cooling/ air conditioning. The fan we got helped only a bit. The bed was quite soft, perhaps even too soft.

Found it a bit hard when arriving by car where the actual entrance was and where to check in but also where to park the car. Once we found it, the stay was great and the food (dinner and breakfast) was really good. Especially the dinner! The only thing bringing the score down slightly was how it was very hot inside the hotel. Which I guess due to the age of the hotel but surely it must be possible to improve on ventilation or even better, have air condition installed. All in all though, a great experience!

A lovely old hotel in a beautiful setting. Unfortunately the free coffee was cold and there was no espresso in the restaurant. That spoiled the overall impression a little bit.

Rummet 239 var litet och varmt med utsikt var ett trist tak, saknade något att lägga resväskan på, dåligt underhåll på tex stolar då skruvar lossnade och ett handtag lossnade på nattduksbordet, saknade även ett kylskåp, men frukosten var toppen och hotellet var fint för övrigt.

Receptionen stängde 16 (skulle vara 22) utan att meddela sig. Vi kom 15.30 som tur var. Poolen var inte användbar. Äggröran till frukosten var inget vidare. Handspriten i receptionen skvätte över våra kläder, personalen brydde sig inte. Annars var allt bra.

Rummet var tillräckligt stort och väl städat som man förväntar sig. Nu för tiden behövs det dock fler vägguttag och uttag nära sängen för laddning etc. Man ska inte behöva krypa bakom möblerna och plugga ur vattenkokaren för att kunna ladda telefonen. Dessutom vore det bra om krokar, duschhållare och annat sådant i badrummet satt fast och inte glappade. Det är i och för sig något som är gemensamt för nästan alla hotell världen över, som jag bott på. Trevlig och tillmötesgående personal som slet som djur för att hinna få fram tallrikar etc. till alla hungriga frukostgäster.
