Everything was clean and neat, the igloo is unique and fantastic,but there were no slippers, no split shampoo and body wash and most importantly there was not any safe box, and it produced trouble when we decided to go for snow activity we should take all passport , money , etc.Breakfacst was good and multi items. Staffs were very friendly. The chack in was too late , 4 pm for the hotel with such high prices and that time there was almost night.

We spent two nights at Santa Aurora in an Igloo. The igloo was cute, warm and the view was spectacular as expected. Unfortunately their was no snow when we went, but that‘s not the Hotels fault ;) Either way we didn‘t expect it to be this quite, if you come before december be prepared that there are no shops and only 1-2 restaurants in the area, so you better rent a car in advance. The breakfast was nice and everyone was friendly, would come back to sleep in a snowy Igloo :)

Great food/service. Poor wifi/too bright 4 Aurora

The food was surprisingly excellent, particularly the breakfast buffet. Dinner was also great. We had the salmon soup, salmon on beet risotto and the deer sirloin. All delicious. Unfortunately, although there were Northern Lights the night we were there, they were very hard to see because there is so much extra lighting around the hotel. Like incredibly bright parking lot lighting everywhere. You need to leave the hotel and go onto the nearby cross country ski trails. Also, the wifi was so bad we almost missed all the aurora app alerts. So, it was frustrating to have to wake up at 3 am, try to find a wifi signal and check the alerts. We couldn't confirm anything through our windows because of all the lights.

Stayed 3 nights but room/towels/bedding were not refreshed - room was generally clean otherwise. Bed not comfortable but the room was warm and cosy. The hotel was well located as it was central and functional for excursions. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Main restaurant ok but found better dining externally.

A nice experience but definitely not worth the exorbitant price, particularly considering the basic nature of the property and amenities. What isn’t shown in the advertising photos is the proximity to other igloos and to the road. Due to this there is plenty of unnatural light which obviously impacts the stargazing/aurora experience. We wouldn’t return

Nice staff, pleasant breakfast, and seeing the aurora borealis while lying in bed is an incredible experience. But it still can't quite justify the price. Quite a few short black hairs on the pillow (neither my wife, nor I have black hair) and if you don't get an igloo at the edge of the property, the light pollution is probably too bad to see much. A shame that a hotel that advertises seeing the northern lights doesn't at least dim the outdoor lights after 10pm (or put them on a movement sensor?).

Rooms were kept too hot, even with the window open our whole stay. Lights were on in the carpark all night which reflected into our room. I requested a high floor, north facing room on booking, but was given a ground floor room on arrival. No rooms in this hotel face north which I wasn't made aware of until check-in, despite my emailing about it. On questioning the ground floor room, I was told I had to pay €30/night extra for a higher floor room, which was never mentioned in previous correspondence with the hotel. Despite the above, I do recommend this hotel and would stay again.

Perfekt im Norden, konnten sogar Polarlichter beobachten! Unbedingt die Iglus buchen! Man braucht nur einen Mietwagen sonst ist man unflexibel, es soll aber auch ein Bus gefahren sein.

Hotelli sijaitsee hyvällä paikalla. Bussi tuo suoraan hotellin pihaan joten matkatavarat sai nopeasti sisälle. Hotelli oli rauhallinen. Hotellin " respassa" työskenteli aivan ihana henkilö. Hän oli ystävällinen, hyväntuulinen ja auttavainen. Hänelle täydet pisteet.

Luostolla lysthin pidossa

Oikein kiva paikka ja mukava henkilökunta, joka opasti paikan saloihin. Aamiainen loistava, erityispisteet tuoreista mustikoista. Sauna oli oikein kiva lisä. Lähellä oleva Punakettu -ravintola oli sympaattinen ja siellä oli todella hyvät pizzat. Hyvä mieli jäi kaikenkaikkiaan!

Hyvää sekä myös jotain huomautettavaa

TV oli vanhanaikainen ja kanavat puuttuivat lähes kokonaan. Huoneen sauna melko ahdas ja hieman tunkkainen. Aamupala oli hyvin suunniteltu ja sopivan monipuolinen, myös paikallisuus oli huomioitu. Ei ylimääräisiä palveluja ja vastaanotto sekä ravintola puuttui ilta-aikana kokonaan. Koira oli tervetullut, tosin hinta korkea.
