The room was clean. BUT it took an act of congress to get into the room.
I received NO INSTRUCTIONS on how or where to check in. I did a virtual check in, which supposedly gives you this Bluetooth connection to unlock your room door. This worked 25% of the time. It once took me 30 minutes to get into my room because it “could not locate the room.” That’s unacceptable.
Finally, went to the other side of the village and was told by someone I could get a normal hotel key card from the service desk. That would have been great to know from the beginning. It didn’t even tell me my room number. I had to figure that out too.
Icing on the cake, drum roll please. NO HOT WATER. Yep. Had to take an ice cold shower on my birthday because the hot water was not working.
So I could barely get into my room, and on top of that, couldn’t even provide basic necessities.
I paid $550+ to stay here for two nights, received no instructions, could barely access my room, and had no hot water the first night.
Stay somewhere else, they can’t even get the basics right.
Only reason it’s not 1 star is because the view from the balcony was nice, easy access to the village/slopes, and staff was nice.
