The best thing about this place is the great location right on the ski hill, walkable to restaurants and shopping. The next best thing was the breakfast. Fresh squeezed orange juice and made-to-order avocado toast with eggs was unexpected and delicious. The property itself is worn down and in need of some TLC. The elevator was out of order and the hot tub was tepid at best. The woman at the desk at check-in was rude but the one at checkout the next day was friendly. The only pillow option was thick foam. Most places offer both foam and feather these days. Overall it met our needs for a one night stopover.

The room and premises were very clean. The breakfast was a pleasant surprise as you sit at a table and they wait on you. There are self serve options as well. The dining room is large with multiple tables that can sit 6 to 8. Plus smaller tables for smaller groups or a single person. There was a special each morning: one day it was avocado toast with sliced boiled egg and sliced tomatoes. I gave 3 stars for amenities because the elevator was out of service for my entire 3 day stay and that was an amenity I searched for. On the upside the beds and pillows were very comfortable. And view from my balcony was charming with a variety of trees and some flowers. I would stay here again definitely.

Excellent stay at Snowmass Mountain Chalet. The location is extremely convenient—steps from the mountain and village. The staff were genuinely friendly and welcoming throughout our stay. The lobby is warm and comfortable, a great place to relax after skiing, and the breakfast was delicious and well done each morning. Would definitely stay here again.

Location is the best! Steps from ski rental, lift tickets, and gondola. Great breakfast and lunch. On Saturday night, they provided cheese and chocolate fondue, as well as appetizers in the Great Room. A very nice touch. Wonderful staff and cleaning crew. Free shuttle to and from ASE airport. Free village bus service to all four mountains. Excellent accommodations if you’re in it for the skiing.

We really enjoyed our stay. Ski and snowboard from outside the building. Real breakfast and friendly service. They also have a lunch/soup bar. Great value. The building is older but it was clean. The staff was friendly and accommodating.
