“The Hornsbury Mill is a very charming hotel, set in beautiful grounds with a little lake. The staff are very friendly and attentive and the bed comfortable. I had the full English (vegan) breakfast and it was very tasty. The one complaint I had was that when the very charming old mill wheel is on and turning (which they switch off at 8pm), the noise made a constant thud in my room and bothered me a little. I assume it won’t be too much of a bother though to most people, who would be in bed well...

“A really lovely night's stay. Friendly and quick check in. Warm and comfortable room, beautifully furnished. And an amazing shower! Breakfast was fantastic, a very good selection which was freshly cooked to order. There is a friendly pub over the road which serves basic, but tasty food in the evenings. All in all highly recommended. We will definitely be returning.”

“Great to find a B&B for three adults, something that is not so easy. It was situated close to the road but we could sleep well as the rooms don't look at the road. It's situation is perfect to move in the area as it's not in the centre of one of the touristic towns. The garden looks very pleasant had we got time to relax. The breakfast room is very nice with a lot of options to choose from. We really felt welcomed ”

“We did an overnight stop to split a long journey. Lovely welcome from Cara. We loved the accommodation, own entrance and all we needed for our stay. Great bedding and bathroom with shower. “Strong WiFi throughout. Plenty of choice for breakfast, although the cooked food was a bit salty for our liking. Bed was firm, with a creak. Non feather bedding, so great for allergies. Bathroom door wasn't keen to stay shut. Room was clean. Great selection of teas, coffee and hot chocolate as well as biscuits. Quiet location over the night. Steak and ale pie great, veg pie you needed a spoon to eat the contents with. ”
