“This is a great venue if you wish to be off grid lifestyle. For us it didn’t quite meet our needs as our dog couldn’t manage the staircase & although we thought we had a shower and separate bathroom we only had a bath. Hot water is at a premium here we found & lacking in water pressure. But truly a great venue if you wish to unplug, & chill. One recommendation I would make, to help dogs relax. Is to the make the gardens private with privacy screens. The dog next door was barky & uneasy...

“Everything was great apart from the musical entertainment on Saturday afternoon/evening which Expedia didn't warn us about and which was very intrusive. We cancelled our booking in the restaurant and went to Hunstanton to escape the constant noise. A shame because we would otherwise recommend the hotel very highly.”

“Property has been upgraded downstairs and the restaurant and bar area are lovely as is the outside courtyard. When you go upstairs it’s apparent that an upgrade is still required. Our room - 3 - overlooked a very busy main road and the secondary double glazing did nothing to keep the constant traffic noise at bay. There are two windows in that’s room. And they are old and rotten. Triple glazed windows required. Carpets need replacing. Bathroom has been upgraded and is very pleasant but b&b...

“We booked (2) Deluxe Apartments for two nights, and both rooms were super spacious, equipped, and clean. We had other family staying at The Wenns and their room was also nice. The communication beforehand was excellent, and they were always very helpful. The Wenns is conveniently located in the heart of Kings Lynn. Great pub, too!”

“Friendly helpful staff. Courtyard room very small and although there was an air cooler it was useless. We took our Dyson fan with us and hardly slept on the first night. Definitely need air conditioning in bedroom. Very nice breakfast with good menu. Inside The Orange Tree we found it very tired and needed a thorough clean eg windows, window ledge and ornaments adjacent to our breakfast table. “Driftwood cottage is a pretty cottage, very well equipped and spotlessly clean. The owners are really helpful and ensured we had a perfect few days there.”

“Great location, but room was in poor condition (mouldy tiles, discoloured toilet seat, cracks & holes in the walls) & not clean. If you have mobility issues, there are lots of steps.Breakfast available if arranged the previous day. Free parking on the road, but spaces are taken quickly”
