I felt quite comfortable in the hotel. Everything is fine but I was missing some things in the breakfast that are available in any buffet of any hotel, for example bacon, ham, ... the nuts need to be changed once in a while, I took some pistaccios and they were so soft, probably too old

The hotel is beautifully situated close to the heart of Sønderborg, offering stunning views of the harbor and easy access to local attractions. The rooms are spacious and modern. As we traveled with our small dog, we incurred additional cleaning fees of 300 DKK per night, which is approximately 40 euros. We have stayed in many European hotels and have always paid between 8-15 euros max; therefore, the price is simply exorbitant. It was all the more annoying that, whenever we left the room with our dog, we informed the reception that the room service could come to clean. Unfortunately, this never worked directly, so our room was only cleaned during day trips every second day. In addition, it was inconvenient to always have to leave the wet food for the dog at the reception because of a missing minibar at the room; the staff helpful. Our room had a breathtaking view of the sea, which was a nice sight to wake up to each morning. Steigenberger has an array of nice amenities. Great is the Spa area; still, for the overall price we paid for two weeks it was a pity that the access to the pool was not included. Additionally, we were somewhat bothered that, on top of the 'normal' spa area costs, there are additional charges for the Nordic Spa area. For a hotel in this price range, a spa area should naturally be included in the overnight price. The dining experience at Steigenberger Alsik is very good and we would like to highlight the extraordinary breakfast buffet.

Sehr schönes Hotel mit einem sehr guten Morgenbuffet. Wir konnten erst um 21.05h dort sein. Zu dieser Zeit war es nicht mehr möglich, im Hotel etwas zu essen. Bei der Reservierung habe ich vermerkt, dass mein Sohn Geburtstag hat und 14 Jahre alt wird. Aus meiner Sicht ein Steilpass für das Hotel. Sie haben darauf aber nicht reagiert.

Super ophold samt en ide til forbedring

Fantastisk ophold. Super venlig og hjælpsom personale alle steder, wellnes-information-restaurant. Dejlig by i det heletaget. Hvis jeg skal sige noget negativ så må det blive parkeringen, den burde være gratis for husets gæster, det ville være en fin gestus.

Spa koster 400kr ekstra

Det var et fint sted, vi blev vildt skuffet over at vi ikke havde adgang til Spa’en og skulle give 400 kr. ekstra for at komme derind. Det er i forvejen et meget dyrt hotel. Spa adgang burde være inclusiv i ophold.

Dejligt ophold hvor især morgenmaden var ekstraordinær god. Spiste der den ene aften og fik rigtig god mad. Husk at tage en tur op på 16 og nyd udsigten. Eneste lille minus var små hovedpuder.

Dejligt hotelophold.

Dejligt, hyggeligt og flot hotel med dejligt værelse med flot udsigt. Venligt personale. Aftenmaden i Restaurant Alsik, var ganske ordinær og ikke noget specielt, i forhold til prisen. Den var alt for høj.
