Smithton Sunsets from a well equipped property.

The property has the most wonderful views from its elevated position. The driveway is steep - but worth it. Imagine beautiful sunsets in front of a roaring fire on the deck in autumn - that’s what we got. (Not sure if the owners arranged the sunsets, but the fire & indoor wood burner were ready to light.) Kitchen was stocked with choice of cereals plus milk & juice for breakfast plus other nice touches. There were many appliances & cookware options and a BBQ to boot. Bathroom & kitchen were very clean, but allergies were triggered in the bedroom (maybe dusty curtains?). Local wildlife in the garden was an added bonus. Smithton is located in the north-west, close to the Tarkine drive & Stanley. It has grocery stores & coffee shops making this a great property to base yourself for a few days or just as a romantic getaway.

As we drove down the unpaved road towards the property, i think everybody in the car was getting a bit nervous we then saw the sign and turned in and started going up the steep road and i got a lot of "are you sure ?" Im like trust me. We reached the cabin walked through the back door and everybody was just blown away as we walked through it. We then got to the verandah and just looked out at the sea view. Its beautifully furnished but has all the mod cons. Sitting out on the porch beside the fire watching the sun going down is amazing. The location is super peaceful but only 5 minutes from a woolworths so the best of both worlds. Next time we visit i will book for more than 1 night........

This is an amazing and very unique property in a stunning location on a hilltop surrounded by nature and a mind blowing view. This rustic but very well equipped cottage delighted us. Sooo peaceful and quiet. Highly recommended!!

Amazing views, watch the tide come in over the afternoon and them again in the morning. A very relaxing location. Great provisions, fully stocked cupboard and fridge. Comfortable beds and friendly wildlife.
