The staff member was very friendly at the front desk. It's a boutique hotel so ceiling heights are very tall and decor match the age and heritage of the building.

As usual, we enjoyed our stay at the Grand Hotel. Staff are friendly and accommodating, the rooms are quiet, spotlessly clean and the mattress was very comfy. No complaints.

We had a great stay at the Grand Hotel, hotel is really nice, room was clean, large bathroom. Husband wanted tea kettle, staff was so nice gave us one right away. Its a great hotel in a small town. Would definitely come back.

I wanted a place downtown near the canoe club park, within walking distance, for a regatta. This fits the bill. Be sure to book well ahead as there aren't many accommodation options in Carleton Place.
