Unit in the tower was well maintained. We enjoyed our stay.

Very cool and quiet spot. Loved it!

Kingfisher Inn is NOT a Hotel, it is a timeshare condo facility. There is no daily service like expected at a Hotel. No daily linen service, no spruce up/vacuum your room service, no help fix your TV service. The TV was not set-up with any local channels, cable, even though the front desk staffers (3 different ones) insisted all the channels, as listed in their magazine or accessible QR code, should be available - THEY WERE NOT - ONLY streaming apps were available on the TV. And nobody could fix it - these 3 different staffers could not access the available channel list. The units are very old - although every unit does have an OCEAN VIEW. There are coin laundry machines, but no coin changer machine. And the front desk does not have any cash. There were no specific luggage, or suitcase stands. Made for awkward mobility around the unit. They attempted to upgrade the unit with new spigot fixtures - they forgot to anchor them down. Kitchen sink - entire spigot base moved when turning handle from cold to hot. Shower spigot moved away from wall when trying to engage. Although not technically an 'accessible' unit - the shower was slippy scary - a tub mat or something grippy would be advantageous. We deemed the Kingfisher Inn a DUMP.

We have stayed at the George Hotel before. It always is worth the money. Great staff, clean and comfortable rooms, walkable location, we always enjoy our stay. This time was like the others except there was a problem with the elevator all three days of our stay. It would be closed during the day and then opened late afternoon into the evening. I understand this could happen anytime, but three days seems excessive.
