Avoid This Property – Terrible Maintenance & Total Lack of Guest Care I stayed at the Sandman Signature Plano-Frisco Hotel on Tuesday, September 29, 2026, and had an unacceptable experience. * Cleanliness & Health: The overhead shower was so grimy and dirty that we had to scrub it ourselves before using it. The air conditioner continuously clicked off throughout the night, and due to dirty, unserviced filters, I woke up with severe chest congestion and became ill. * Safety & Maintenance: A large piece of tape was placed across the carpet right near the room entry, creating a tripping hazard that I repeatedly tripped over. The bed was also completely worn out with two deep body dips. * Customer Service: When I raised these issues through Expedia, management agreed to a 50% refund, but no one from the hotel ever bothered to reach out to me directly to apologize, follow up, or show any accountability for guest care. A partial refund doesn't make up for unsanitary conditions, safety risks, and zero customer service. I strongly advise fellow travelers to look elsewhere.
