The room was clean, the bed was comfortable, the breakfast offerings were fine, the staff was pleasant. The exterior of the motel needs quite a bit of work. We were relieved the room was much better maintained. One complaint about the room - poor lighting.

I screwed up my reservation, and they helped accommodate me which was appreciated. We had two rooms for 3 nights. The rooms were clean and comfortable. Everything worked, beds were comfortable. No bugs and I would stay here again. Pool is closed off and won't be opening but this is not an issue for us. The only issue I had was the sign in the breakfast area that said we couldn't take the food to our rooms. I asked if I could take my food to my mother's room since she is 84 and was told yes. What I noticed is that everyone took their food to their rooms and ignored the sign. Would stay here again in the future.

This motel is pretty basic but acceptable if you need a pet-friendly place to spend the night in Skowhegan. It's on the main drag so lots of places to get supplies, something to eat, gas up, charge the EV, etc.

We stayed here overnight for the Special Olympics equestrian meet. Staff was very friendly and welcoming. Room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast space was a little small, but not a huge issue. Will definitely be back next year.

Staff was very nice. The room appeared clean but the floors were not swept or washed. It looked like they only swept the open area leaving along the walls and between the furniture extremely dirty.

Bring your own toilet paper theirs is the thinnest 1 ply I’ve ever seen and we have stayed in a lot of motels all around the country. We actually went and bought our own toilet paper. We were there for 5 nights and they never offered clean towels or took our garbage. We had to go empty our own garbage. Other than that the continental breakfast was not bad. They did have eggs you could warm up in the microwave. The beds were comfortable and the rooms weren’t bad, good pillows

A good place to stay

Breakfast was OK, but not great. The pool has a sign on it advising that it is permanently closed. The motel provides the services it should and is clean and seems safe.
