Cozy hotel with no shower

It was a nice cozy hotel with friendly people at reception/restaurant. A couple of issues: Parking was tricky to find as there was signage. There was no shower or bath tub in the room. Only a shower nozzle on the wall beside the sink.

No one there

When I booked the hotel I didn't know that there was going to be no one available for a week. I was booked in for 2 weeks at the start of the year. I travelled for over 12 hours to a hotel which was locked, empty and in darkness. I had to phone security to give me a code to let me in. It was difficult to have a conversation because I can't speak Danish and he could only speak a little English. Once in the hotel there was a note to say my roon was open and the key was inside. Generally the hotel looked very clean and well looked after but the overall experience of walking around an empty hotel was like something out of The Shining. As their was no one their in the morning I had to drive to the nearest supermarket to get breakfast. Once I had found their was no one available for a week. That was enough for me to move hotels as I wasn't going to the local shop to get breakfast every morning

Self-check-in hat gut funktioniert… email mit Zugangsdaten haben wir erhalten und konnten so direkt aufs Zimmer. Die Rezeption war zwar besetzt, aber wir haben keinerlei Informationen erhalten. Als wir feststellten, dass der Ventilator defekt war, war kein Ansprechpartner mehr erreichbar. Das Zimmer war klein, das lag ja aber an der Zimmerkategorie. Aber das Badezimmer war echt gewöhnungsbedürftig: keine Duschkabine; der Duschvorhang ging um das Waschbecken, so dass alles was auf dem Waschbecken und der Ablage stand nass wurde. Der ganze Badezimmerfussboden war nass nach dem duschen und man bekam nasse Füße wenn man auf Toilette ging. Es lagen ohrstöpsel auf dem Zimmer. Die waren dringend nötig, da jede Nacht party auf dem bahnhofvorplatz war. Wir hatten uns vor der Anreise nach einem abschließbaren Platz für unser Fahrrad erkundigt. Das sollte im Hinterhof möglich sein. Allerdings mussten wir vor Ort feststellen, dass das nur möglich ist, wenn die Rezeption besetzt ist. Den einen Tag gab es Charlotte, die sehr hilfsbereit war. Aber das bringt nichts wenn die Rezeption am Wochenende nicht besetzt ist. Am Sonntag war das Frühstücksbüffet um 8:30 Uhr schon sehr ausgesucht: es gab noch eine Portion Lachs, keinen käseaufschnitt und noch 4 Brötchen insgesamt. Die Rezeption und die Küche waren nicht besetzt. Das geht nicht! Auch wenn einige Zeit später jemand auftauchte, der noch drei Brötchen aus der Küche zauberte, ist das keine gute Situation.
