I enjoyed my stay, the staff were friendly and helpful. Only one evening due to a wedding reception , the band noise disturbed my sleep 😴 but overall my stay at the hotel was very pleasant.

A lovely building. We had a room overlooking the canal. It was goid that we had a little door to open as room was so hot, even though we had a fan.

Herriots is in a great location to be able to walk into Skipton, we chose to walk via the canal which was lovely. Our room was comfortable with a very small en suite. We ate in their Rhubarb restaurant, portions weren’t large but very tasty, the lady who was front of the house was excellent. Breakfast was good although very busy. Altogether a good stay.

Nice location and very convenient, just 5 minutes walk from the town centre. There is a Morrison in front, and a pub and restaurant in the hotel. There is free parking on site. Nice breakfast, with continental options. Very friendly and polite staff. Clean rooms

A lovely night!

A lovely hotel in a fab setting. The room was amazing (Wharfe) and the breakfast was tasty with a wide range of cereals, cooked and pastries.

I was not impressed being ‘ejected’ , as a resident at the hotel, at 11pm on a Saturday night. As a hotel resident, every where else I have stayed I could get a drink. On this occasion there were probably 15 hotel guests in the bar but we were all evicted. I will not be staying there again.

quickly and efficiently checked in, lift to room on floor 1 slow but efficient, gr8 room with light and space, huge modern bathroom, but tv slow and complicated. no noise night or day from outside or inside. super convenient for town and station with canal towpath behind hotel and train immediately opposite- thoroughly recommended
