The staff are lovely and the food is amazing. The lunchtime sharing boards are brilliant. We loved the location, especially the short walk along the canal into town. The only downside was the lack of a lift. I've been told to pack less for next time!!

Superbly located on the canal side,and directly across the road from Skipton station,and only a short walk into the centre. On site parking and with a lovely beer garden. Our canal view room was on the top floor with French windows,giving us a wonderful view of the canal. Dining in the Rubarb restaurant was ,on the whole,enjoyable. One starter course was a disappointment but the rest went down well. Breakfast was the usual buffet layout with hot dishes to order. Service throughout was excellent. Definitely no qualms over staying there again.

A lovely hotel, just a short walk along the side of the canal, to the town centre. Our room was lovely, spacious and well appointed. Plenty of shelving and hanging space. A very comfortable bed, always a bonus. The en-suite was modern with an efficient walk in shower. The breakfast area was well laid out and comfortable. There was a good range of cereals etc. The cooked portion of the breakfast was cooked to order and was first class. The Eggs Benedict is wonderful, ham off the bone. A reasonably sized free car park is a real bonus. We really liked Herriots and hope to stay there again.

Had the Full Yorkshire which was fair and served hot, promptly and with friendly service. Usual selection of drinks, fruit, cereal and some pastries on offer. Bar has a wide selection but couldn't see an IPA option. Plenty if places to relax inside or outside.
