The Ashfield House was a delightful place to stay. Lynne was especially helpful. The breakfasts were outstanding. We would highly recommend this as a wonderful place to stay.
Stephen and Lynne were most helpful when we found our car had a flat, filling the tire and directing us to a nearby repair shop. Breakfast was excellent and featured a nice selection. Service from the staff was excellent. Everyone very friendly and helpful. Beautiful surroundings as well and easy walking distance to restaurants, coffee, bakery and ice cream treats!
Amazing place to stay!
This is the third time we have stayed here, you are always made to feel welcome. The hotel is right in the heart of Grassington, where there are great walks and restaurants on the doorstep. We would highly recommend it.
We received a very warm welcome and staff were all very friendly and helpful. Our room was spotless and comfortable.
breakfast offered plenty of choice and was delicious.
Stayed for one night for our anniversary. Really lovely old style B&B. Very comfortable, great breakfast, parking and right in the middle of Grassington
Had an excellent overnight stay, lovely hosts & excellent breakfast.
Set in its own private gardens just a couple of minutes walk away from main square, plenty of good Pubs to choose from for eating out or just chilling watching the world go by.
Would definitely stay here again if in the area

Beautiful 17th century period cottage within a few yards of the village square with parking.
Very personal welcome and service throughout our stay.
This property is in the center of Grassington. Perfect location, quaint, clean and beautiful built in the 17th century, but with all the modern conveniences
We had a wonderful stay at Ashfield House. The room was clean, comfortable, peaceful and the lovely little extras were much appreciated. The house is in the village just a short walk from The Devonshire pub. The breakfast was lovely and the hosts were very welcoming. Thank you for making our stay a pleasurable one.
Great location, just off main square of Grassington and parking too. Received watm welcome and room was warm, cosy and clean with the little touches like processo and Christmas candy canes appreciated. Breakfast was delicious and high quality too.
Grassington is a really picturesque village, the property is right in the heart of the village, good pubs etc. We had 2 full days and did long walks along the River Wharfe each day - beautiful countryside. Comfort, condition & eco are all rated high considering the property is apprx 400 years old. The breakfast is top notch whatever your diet, and lots of it!
One caveat - the driveway is very narrow with stone walls - a big car could be a problem.
Grassinton is a quaint village in West Yorkshire. The Ashfield House is in the centre of the village and is equally quaint but with all the facilities you would expect to find in upmarket accommodation.
Such a charming, sweet cottage. It is located right in the village. Downside is the access to the second bedroom. Steep, steep steps. If it was explained in the description, we missed it. But we still enjoyed our stay. Comfortable living room and kitchen. Quiet. Just difficult access to the second bedroom. Very nice staff person.
A wonderful BnB on the heart of Grassington.
We arrived later than planned and were told that the road leading to the hotel was closed to traffic for the next 5 hours!
We contacted the owner who ran interference for us and got the road crew to let us through. A very much appreciated extra effort. She also went nextdoor to the nearby pub to get us a dinner reservation.
She told us if we went in on our own they would tell us they were finished with reservations for the evening.
A helping hand in both instances that was above and beyond the norm.
On top of that our room was cozy, the breakfasts delicious, and the location perfect. Especially for fans of All Creatures Great and Small.
Highly recommended.
We had an amazing stay here. The house and gardens are beautiful and in a fantastic location right in the centre of the village, yet so quiet and peaceful. There is a car park, just be warned that access is quite tight if you have a larger car.
Our room was small but perfect for us with a king size bed and beautiful ensuite. We found Prosecco in our room on arrival.
We had access to a gorgeous lounge room in with an honesty bar where we enjoyed a relaxing evening after sampling some of the local pubs and the very good Indian restaurant. There are also sweets and treats left for guests in the entrance hall which is a lovely touch.
Breakfast in the morning was amazing and our hosts were very warm and friendly. On leaving, we were given advice about an alternative, more scenic route to Malham than the one we had intended to take, and the owners were spot on - we just wished the weather hadn’t been so rotten so we had better views - but it was still beautiful nonetheless.
A fabulous stay and we would definitely love to return as it was exceptional value for money.
