This was a great place with one (significant) drawback. The water in the shower was very low pressure and variable down to no flow at all at times 🙁 Other than that, the room was very comfortable and it is in a great location. It is pricey and breakfast at $32 per person is steep, but that seems pretty standard in this part of Iceland at this time of year.

Our room is very clean and quiet. Staff are very friendly. Our room’s view is super, we can see the beautiful sunset in our room. Location is good, not too far from Vik where we can have great restaurants for dinner. Not too far for many activities.

Wonderfully isolated location with huge views of coastline and old volcanoes. Enjoyed a double aspect sea view. Easy access along gravel road from Route 1 and Vik relatively nearby for amentities. Well presented and decorated with pictures. Unduly expensive breakfast - not tried Major problem with lack of communication in advance. Ignored three messages via Expedia and an email even after being called by an Expedia representative. Am still unclear whether there is a dinner option as indicated on website. Ignore request on Expedia to get in touch about check in as has a staffed check in till 9pm.

Great Stay!

Exceeded my expectations, friendly host who waited for us since we arrived 20 minutes passed the end of check out time (call ahead though if you’re running late). We stayed in the room with the private bathroom and bathroom was nice (renovated) and very clean. Would stay here again! Only downside was the breakfast was very expensive per person
