5 star plus good hotel with very nice and friendly staff help you with anything in nice quiet area would recommend and would stay here again everytime we come down to skegness. Staff there are loverly

It was an amazing stay few things missing in the room such as a towel holder and a wardrobe or draws but it was lovely nonetheless 😊

The Waves Hotel

The room was fantastic, it was clean and tidy. The bathroom was slightly smaller than normal but this was due to us booking a standard room. We enjoyed our stay. The room had tea and coffee facilities and because of the area it was quiet which was a positive because we could sleep. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

Not as bad as i was expecting following previous reviews. Every ok and as descibed. Just very basic and lacking in any personality. Be great at half the price as a working mans stop over.

Don’t stay here.

This hotel is not clean not very well ran my room was ok but my friends door didn’t lock they said they couldn’t do anything about it there were holes in the wall and the room hadn’t seen a Hoover or or a duster in a long time.

Our room was ok for 1 night...there was no where to hang clothes, no where to sit and do hair, room needed some tlc...there was someone arguing around midnight felt like they was in the room, you have to pay £3.50 to park on hotel cash only, we couldnt lock our door the guy came and helped said there was a way to do it we than couldnt open it took us ages on leaving we couldnt lock it again

Definatley not a 3.5 star hotel more like a unclean Hostel.shower was very dirty with someone else's hair, no hand wash, no shower gel.Reception was closed after booking in, unable to complain or ask for anything.Bed was broken and sheets had holes, wish i read reviews before booking.

There was no WiFi, the window handle was broken so unsafe, the door to the room wouldn't lock , the room was dirty , shower was either burning hot or cold and was hanging off the wall ,it was a complete waste of money

Okay stay, not the warmest or friendliest of hosts. Area felt a bit dodgy with some shouting etc outside, I guess not much anyone can do about that. No where to hang clothes in the room, bedside light but no where to plug it in, world's smallest towel. Room okay for one night's stay, priced appropriately. Location not too far from Train/Bus Station and easy walking distance to shops/restaurants/beach. Probably would not stay again.

This property is not fit for purpose. For £80 a night I expect more. The host was non existent. The stair carpet was filthy. The bedroom had a small double with iffy bedding and no facilities to hang clothes. DO NOT BOOK THIS ‘HOTEL’

The whole hotel needs a good spruce up! Bed was a very cheap mattress, lumpy old pillows and apparently clean bedding that was covered in other peoples hair. I went and brought new pillows and cover as i couldnt bare to sleep on them. Stains on the headboard. Room was very dusty. Door did not lock or unlock properly. It took me 10mins to get in my room.

Where do I start. The cleaner hadn’t been so the room had dirt everywhere. The owner had another job ‘down the road’ so was unavailable to complain too. We would of moved to another hotel but it was too late in the day to wander round skeggy after 100 mile bike ride. And how would I get a refund as the owner was ‘down the road’ Truly awful experience .

I stopped in room 10 and had trouble locking door and rang up and said it always has trouble locking so said was not happy and said give them 10 mins to come and sort out they never came out i stopped here last new years eve u got greated to check in and had a room down stairs were could have your own pre drinks and to lady was lovely with everyone got u all in mood to let new year in so thats y booked again but was no of that was all locked off and nobody greated u to show to room u had to ring up to find out what room was in and another thing there was tea coffeee facilities but no milk so how the hell could u make a drink to be honest it was really disappointing for the year before dont think be booking again

Disaster.

No reception during stated normal checkin times. Help yourself with key left in room. Dirty sheets, had to ask for clean ones, not much better. Bedside lamp & kettle not working. Cause found to be smashed extension lead plug with live wires exposed next to bed. Room not vacuumed Had to change to another room. Better but not made up so had to vacuum ourselves and take towels, tea coffee etc. from other room. Hotels.com photos very deceptive. Looks modern but photos must have been taken many years ago as reality is very dated.
