Skagway is all about the history of the 1898 gold rush. Lots of information; well-preserved buildings. Incredible scenery and geology.
Super adorable town with lots to do and see. Just wish we had more time.
See the Days of 98 show, visit the cemetery and falls, the Mentalist show at the Westmark on Saturday evenings is fantastic - hope it continues beyond this season.
I WILL NEVER STAY ANYWHERE ELSE THAN THE WHITE HOUSE WHEN I GO TO ALASKA. YOU COULD NOT ASK FOR A BETTER PLACE. THANK YOU FOR THE MOST WONDERFUL 3 DAYS OF MY LIFE.
Try to visit the Dyer area Ann T transit....it’s the authentic original landing spot. The White Pass Yukon RR is good but pricey. Skagway, like all these little ship stops, are not much more then seasonal jewelry stores....location is beautiful.
