“This is a newer (and cheaper) addition to the Magma Hotel (that’s where you check in). You don’t get the lake view, but it is a neat, tidy little unit that I’d happily stay in again. Great home base for sites like Seljalandfoss and Skogafoss (~1.0-1.5 hr drive) and Fjadrargljufur (15 min drive). Staff were friendly and efficient. Breakfast at Magma Hotel is an additional cost. “We had a great time at this stay. We had the option with the shared bathroom and honestly it was the best shower we had in all Iceland. We were really lucky to see the northern nights during our stay.”
